Design and Construction

The WATT/Puppy consists of two separate enclosures:

  • The WATT (Wilson Audio Tiny Tot) - Contains the midrange and tweeter drivers

  • The Puppy - Houses the woofers and serves as a bass module

The latest version utilizes advanced materials developed by Wilson Audio over the past 50 years:

  • X-Material for internal bracing and external enclosure

  • S-Material for midrange coupling to the front WATT baffle

  • V-Material on top of the Puppy as a vibration-sink interface for the WATT

  • Tweeter: 1-inch Convergent Synergy Carbon (CSC) dome tweeter

  • Midrange: 7-inch AlNiCo QuadraMag driver

  • Woofers: Two 8-inch drivers

  • Proprietary AudioCapX-WA capacitors wound in-house
